In the field of managing almost all kinds of matters concerning the protection of environment, Egerszegi Law Office has a professional experience, practical knowledge and reference list, which is outstanding in Hungary.
In the course of the negotiations connected to the accession process of Hungary to the European Union, for the Government of Hungary Egerszegi Law Office had prepared drafts of legal rules, comparative legal analysis of EU and Hungarian environmental regulations, and background material to be used during the EU-accession negotiations in Brussels.
For several years, Egerszegi Law Office had represented the highest Hungarian authority of environmental protection before courts in environmental law concerned litigation procedures.

Egerszegi Law Office had provided legal representation of the organisation managing state environmental funds, in the framework of which it had given legal opinion on hundreds of subsidy contracts, managed litigation, non-litigation, execution and wind-up procedures, or used other suitable legal ways for the reclaiming of subsidies not properly used.
Egerszegi Law Office had fulfilled the legal representation of a company, owned by one of the multinational holdings operating Hungarian power plants, in a case concerning the modernisation of smoke-gas emission.
Assigned by the Hungarian state authority for the management of privatisation, Egerszegi Law Office had, among other assignments, provided legal opinion on the environmental issues concerning the privatisation of a major mining company.
Upon assignment by the biggest national trader of mineral oil and gas, Egerszegi Law Office had provided a comparative analysis of the EU and Hungarian environmental regulations, in order to fulfil the tasks of the client generated by the harmonisation of laws to the EU regulations.
As an advisor of the president of the biggest railway company of Hungary, Egerszegi Law Office had given legal opinion on matters, among others, concerning environmental issues, to be presented to the board of the company for decision.
For several years Egerszegi Law Office had fulfilled the full-scale legal representation of the biggest Hungarian company engaged in the production and trade of jewellery and the production of coins, in matters concerning, among others, environmental issues (mainly in the field of storing and transportation of hazardous waste).
Furthermore, Egerszegi Law Office regularly provides legal representation for its clients in authority procedures concerning environmental penalties, orders and permits, and also provides the environmental law background of major investment projects.
